WORLD PEACE TOUR

1996
Nina Simone and Suzanne Baumann worked at the residence of N.S.in France on a common project:"THE WORLD PEACE -TOUR". They decide to connect "THE SMALL WORLD EXHIBITION" by Suzanne Baumann with the music and live-concerts of Dr. Nina Simone. Planed was a"WORLD-PEACE TOUR" which should end in the years of 2000 with the participation of other artists in a Global event somewhere in the World. Nina Simone created a special,new song about her Vision of the Future and Suzanne Baumann developes as a sum of "The Small World Exhibition" her architectural Sculpture-Monument,:"ENERGY-TOWER" or TOWER OF SYNOPSIS AND LOVE"© (or also Vitebsk-Tower)for a Future dinamic Life in Peace for the City of Vitebsk and further Destinations in the World ,

1997
Through the Director Mr. Dr. Bernard Carrier the International Green Cross agreed to accompony "THE WORLD PEACE TOUR" in a partnershipo.

Green Cross- Switzerland,presented through the Director: Mr Roland Wiederkehr supported the project:"ENERGY TOWER" or TOWER OF SYNOPSIS AND LOVE"© for Vitebsk with a welcome-declaration.

All documents of the project were given personally to Mrs and Mr. Gorbatschov upon a dinner offered by Green Cross during their visit of Switzerland.

1998

Te patronage granted to "THE SMALL WORLD EXHIBITON" ,1994 within the scope of the UN-CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN in Beijing 1995, through Mr.M.F. Mayor,the Director General of UNECO in Paris,was extended to the "WORLD PEACE TOUR" through Mrs Ingeborg Breines, Director of the UNESCO in Paris, for Women and the Culture of Peace.


To Whom it may Concern

The music of NINA SIMONE has stroked me deeply in my youth and has never left me.
Her music is full of love and her language extraordinary.
She is a unique artist.
NINA SIMONE‘s music is her life and her life is her music.
Her power and personality is significant and has many sides.
NINA SIMONE is more then an artist. She is a magician who is able to expose the dreams of the audience through her music.
It is a great honor for me to know about NINA SIMONE as an artist and friend.
With great respect I thank Nina Simone for all what she has teached me and she has given to the world.

The project:
A World –Tour of concerts by NINA SIMONE and „The Small World Exhibition“ by SUZANNE BAUMANN.
The concept is dedicated to a UNITED WORLD, with the view to the universe, the world and tne things beyond the world.
It is the summary on reflection of life and visions of UNITY.
It is a dream where knowledge, instinct, intuition, feelings and equal values and rights of sexes and species come together.
Above all - it is a gift to mankind with the hope to open up hearts, souls and senses for the wonderful EARTH on which we all are living and for which Dr. Nina Simone and I always have been standing up for.
